67The Cotswolds are a collection of hills that occupy the area to the west of central England. It is an area that stretches out over 145km of the country famous for its green grass hills and breathtaking beauty, so much so that it has been named the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are better viewpoints in the Cotswolds however – just to the northeast of Cleeve Hill you’ll find another trig beacon and although it is lower in altitude it offers better all-round views. Cleeve Hill is a great lunch or picnic spot because it is nice and flat at the top.

The Cotswolds are so beautiful I sometimes feel a sense of loss being so far away. I prefer this scenery to images of the Grand Canyon or the Rocky Mountains. Thanks for sharing. Voted up and beautiful.

I spent six weeks in Cheltenham in 1997 and I enjoyed it. I toured the surrounding areas from Wales to Rugby to Salisbury.
Great hub
Thanks
